Hello and welcome! I am so excited to be the school counselor at Lafayette Estates Elementary School. I obtained my Masters Degree in School Counseling from Kean University and hold a NJ State K-12 School Counseling Certificate. Moreover, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and have taught in the classroom for over twelve years at the elementary level. I am very passionate about the well being of students and providing them with opportunities to grow socially and emotionally.

I'm looking forward to meeting and working with all of the students at Lafayette Estates School. I hope to promote a culture of positivity, respect, and responsibility.

Hi everyone! My name is Brielle Small and I am a School Counselor at Lafayette Estates Elementary School. I previously worked at Woodbridge High School and I am so excited to be here at Lafayette Estates Elementary! I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Masters Degree in School Counseling, both from Kean University! In addition, I hold an Endorsement in Teacher of Students with Disabilities.

As one of the School Counselors, I will play a pivotal role in nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment for the students. I aim to empower our students to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
