Celebrate the release of the PBS documentary, Destination: Oak Tree Road! The Woodbridge Public Library provided research materials, images and historical newspaper articles that informed the production, and will be the site for an exhibit of history and art to accompany the documentary release, which will air on PBS, October 2nd at 8 pm. Students in grades K through 12 are invited to submit artwork for the exhibition, Destination: Your Iselin. Create artwork that reflects your experiences with Oak Tree Road and the Iselin community. Artwork should respond to the prompt, “What does it mean to be from Iselin or have access to the Iselin community?” Artwork submitted and displayed will be on view at Woodbridge Library locations (Main, Fords, Henry Inman, and Iselin) from September 26th through November 1st, with an opening reception on September 26th at the Main Library 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Entries will be picked up from schools within the Woodbridge Township School District by Friday, September 13th. Students may also submit their artwork to the Main Library, no later than Friday, September 13th, by 6 p.m.
