Dear Parents/Guardian:
Welcome to Menlo Park Terrace School #19. It’s just about time for your child to begin a new adventure in life….Kindergarten. My name is Mrs. Truppa, I’m the principal of Menlo Park Terrace Elementary School. That means that it is my job to make sure that all of the children in the school get to school safely, learn, and are delivered home safely to their families.
I would be delighted if the new kindergarten student and parent/guardian would join us for our Welcome Orientation on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 1:30 pm in our All Purpose Room. We ask that only parents/guardians and the new student attend the Orientation. All information for Menlo Park Terrace School for the 2024- 2025 school year will be on the district website, All information regarding your student’s next year teacher, bus information, and emergency forms will be posted at the end of August. Please log into your Genesis Parent Account at the end of August to receive all this important information.
The 2024-2025 school will begin on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, with a full school day. All students must arrive at school no later than 8:55 am, or they must be signed in tardy by a parent or guardian. The school day concludes at 3:30 PM at which time all students will be dismissed.
If your child will be absent from school or late, you must call the office before 9 AM, reporting the reason. The number to call for an absence is 732-596-4147 and is available 24 hours with a machine, please leave a message.
As a reminder, our Menlo Park Terrace School Office is closed for the summer as of June 28, 2024 and will reopen on Monday, August 26, 2024. However, in the event you need assistance or have a question, please feel free to email me at: Margaret.Truppa@Woodbridge.k12.nj.us.
