Dear Parent/Guardian:
We hope your summer is off to a great start. We are happy to inform you that your child has been assigned to kindergarten at Woodbine Ave Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. We are so happy that you will be part of our Woodbine Community.
The first thing you may want to do is set up a Genesis parent portal account (if you do not have one yet). You can do that here: https://parent.woodbridge.k12.nj.us/woodbridge/parents.
Once you have an account, you will find important forms that you need to fill out. You will be able to access your child’s school information on Genesis, including attendance, grades and schedule on the parent portal. Your child’s teacher is not accessible yet; that information will be available in August.

Finally, our kindergarten orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 at 10:00 AM in our all-purpose room. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, see the school, and visit your classrooms.
I will send out additional information via email, so please make sure your email is correct in Genesis. If you need to contact me, I will be checking my email over the summer, but I will not be back in the office until the last week of August.
