Halloween/Trunk or Treat update. It looks like we should just be able to squeak our trunk or treat in. Please arrive on time and be ready to go as soon as possible. If the weather does make a turn for the worse, please keep in mind that all vehicles must wait until every child has exited the lot.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Halloween/Trunk or Treat update. On Friday, October 29 2021, students may wear simple costumes to school. Costumes are not mandatory. No costume masks or props for costumes will enter the classrooms. No inflatable or blow up costumes allowed. Just simple costume clothing. Due to current circumstances, there will be no parade, parties or candy exchanges. All students must still wear safety masks and the classes will continue to follow all social distancing procedures.
On Friday, October 29, 2021 at 6:00pm, our Oak Ridge Heights School Parent Teacher Organization will be hosting our annual TRUNK OR TREAT. We will be waiting until 3:00 to make a weather decision. Due to current circumstances, anyone who is quarantining or should be quarantining are not eligible to participate. All participants must follow social distancing and mask requirements while on school property. The basic rule is if you are within 3 feet of another person, you need to wear a mask. All Staff, students and volunteers must wear masks.
Please do not send any treats or crafts to school. Our PTO will have a table set up at our Trunk or Treat for participants to drop their candy off.
Costumes are not mandatory. Please do not go overboard. I hope that we have some fun and a little bit of normalcy as we say goodbye to October.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Dear Kindergarten Parents and Guardians,
Good morning and I hope you had a safe and pleasant weekend. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, Ms. Forvour will not be returning after fall break. Today, the students will meet their new teacher, Ms. Carfagno who was hired as our new Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Forvour and Ms. Carfagno will be working together to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Dear Kindergarten Parents and Guardians,
Good morning and I hope you had a safe and pleasant weekend. We will be moving Ms. Connolly’s class into room 13 for the remainder of the week. The water based adhesive under the carpet is not curing properly after getting wet. Drop-off and pick-up will change due to the upcoming forecast. Ms. Connolly’s class will line up by the ORANGE CONES in-front of the building Ms. Connolly will walk her students down to room 13. Ms. Connolly will dismiss her class from the same location in front of the building.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
