The results of the IMS Soccer Tournament are in! Thank you to all 8 teams that participated, but it came down to just 2 in the final round. The Vizinators and Santo SFC were tied at the end of official play and it had to go to a Shoot Out. After a tense and well fought battle, Santo SFC came out on top! Congratulations to Hansel Tobias, Kush Patel, Jay Chauhan, Sarvesh G and Kirubanath S. They are your 2024 IMS Soccer Champions.

This week, we are celebrating the week of respect! Today, we're respecting our planet by wearing blue and green clothes. We encourage everyone to try and pick up two or three pieces of trash from the ground on your way home from school today. Tomorrow, we respect diversity in our communities by wearing cultural clothes.
Guitar club will be held tomorrow in Rm 112.
The IMS 4V4 Soccer Tournament will take place tomorrow after school. If you are participating in the games, please remember to bring a soccer ball, shin guards and cleats if you have them. Also make sure your team all wears the same color shirt on the field.

Want to make math more exciting? Join the Math Challenge Club! Our first meeting is tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM in room 412 with Miss Perla. You’ll get to solve fun, challenging problems, work with friends, and improve your math skills while exploring topics that go beyond the classroom.
All band members, a reminder that the first 7th and 8th grade advanced band rehearsal will take place tomorrow morning at 7:20 am. Please be sure to pick up music before the rehearsal.

Have you always wanted to learn how to play the guitar? Check out the guitar club in Rm 112 on Thursdays after school. Students with every level of experience are welcome to attend, but guitar availability runs on a first come first serve basis.
Band students, there is now music available for pickup right outside of the band room. Please be sure to read the labels so you pick up the correct music. If you play percussion, you must see Mr. V before picking up a part. Also, the permission slip for middle schoolers night on Friday October 4th is due by tomorrow. Please take a minute to RSVP on the Google Classroom even if you haven’t handed in the permission slip yet.
